i wish everyone just started doing lan parties again

i like watching videos of lan parties and shit with all the people there listening to music, eating pizza, drinking soda or energy drinks and playing videogames on their pcs in like a basement or smth,.. liek dude i want to do that someday just invite some friends over to a spacious room in a house and setup our pcs so we can play counter strike or world of warcraft or minecraft............... like this idea seems hard to do nowadays (gaming pcs are expensive and you need a really good internet connection) but i think that is possible if someone tries to do that
