vultures review (easy 6.8)

I'm not gonna give a full in-depth review because I'm actually not gonna be able to re-listen to it until Kanye puts it back on Spotify + I'm still kinda reeling from the disgust of blatantly selling out bc you're an idol-worshipper (ty peggy.) Honestly, some of the songs are just ludicrously ass at parts, like it fluctuates from a 4 to a 9 very frequently on this album. Paperwork, Hoodrat, they're decent. Talking (wtf is he trying to prove w/ that North ft), and the weird sampling choices (just speeding shit up until it sounds like bulimic Alvin) throw me off at times. 

His singing about sex is also just so fucking whack. Lyricism is always a bit odd w/ Ye, but it's hard to tune out. "Beautiful big-tiddied butt-naked women don't just fall out of the sky" sounds rancid after you've seen all the pics of him humiliating his wife & treating her like a sex doll. It also sounds fucking goofy because he pronounces it in double time... 

He also needs to get over Taylor. 

Besides that, the album sounded mint. Jpegmafia was a fantastic choice for production, especially after he unleashed probably his best portfolio in STH. Beg Forgiveness was eh. But I'm sure everything else was good.
