Welcome to the early Internet :)
You will need to select an image hosting service in order to obtain the necessary url.
I would recommend imgbb, as it is free and relatively easy, but upon reaching maximum capacity it will require a subscription. You may also upload anonymously, but to access it again you will either have to save the url or make an account.
After uploading it to an image hosting service, you will then need to select the HTML Medium Link option. (I believe options are limited if uploading without an account, however.)
On your blog, press the "<>" button and paste the HTML Medium Link copied from imgbb, then press the eye button, and your image should load.
