jadekat & their classpects (homestuck)

i had some thoughts about jadekats relationship through their classpects that i wanted to talk about! this will be looking at the pairing from a mostly classpect-related lens ^_^

space represents reality & physical things. it can also represent growth or the fate of growth, as the universe/space itself is predestined to always keep growing. jade is a witch of space. witches are very rebellious towards the usual nature of their aspect, and honestly its not really an exception to jade, shes always defied space in a way! she lives unlike any of the other kids, physically & emotionally isolated on an island by herself all her life. she also rebels space by manipulating the space/reality around her, shown through her very personalized room and HUGE variety of interests! jade has no limits with the space around her.

she also takes the "pre-destined" elements of the space aspect and uses these to her advantage! as a prospitian dreamer, jade used the predicting reality of skaia to prepare her friends for the game and even further events.

karkat is a knight of blood! he harnesses bonds, relationships, and even blood itself as a weapon to attack/defend those he chooses. blood is a strong aspect that mostly represents unwavering connections between individuals, and karkat personifies this exactly. he kept his friends together for as long as possible, and managed to help them win the game with his resilient weaponization of blood.

but karkat's challenge is how he doesn't know how to use his aspect to his own advantage, which is shown through his literal mutant blood. him lacking in blood is why karkat pushes himself so hard as a knight.

the way jadekat works together so perfectly is shown when theyre preparing for cascade!

they had been planning out what to do next the whole time! jades determination to grow as a space player and karkats drive as a kngiht are a well-working combo, including how the way jade can easily manipulate the "fate" of space helps karkat with his "unyielding" abilities of blood and the room to do so.

not to mention how karkat still listens to her, and understands her motives because of his great comprehension of blood. even through all her capability, karkat recognizes jade's troubles as a stubborn space player.

sorry if this all sounds really messy! i havent blogged in a bit but i still have so many ideas i want to share, if only it was easier and quicker to write them out ^_^; tysm for reading!!!
