Wizards of Waverly Place (2007-2012)

In my ongoing attempt to make up for shows I never got around to watching (grew up without cable lol), I'll first begin with the Disney Channel shows I missed.  Some of them were on Netflix later, but I somehow still missed quite a few.

I started watching Wizards of Waverly Place for the first time about a week ago, and it's been very interesting so far.  I'm halfway through season 1.

Here are my thoughts as a first-time viewer:

- humor is consistently funny 

- writing is pretty nice and flows well

- special effects aren't super great, but that just adds to the charm in my opinion

- I love the dynamics between the siblings 

Any thoughts about this show?  No major spoilers pls, I haven't finished yet :)
