Nostalgia Overload Pt 1

2004 was one of the best years of my life.

I was in 8th grade and had some really cool friends. I biked around everywhere and my friends Tyler and Chris BMX'd and skateboarded. We would chill at Tyler's place and I would bring my guitar and amp over so he could jam on his drumset and Chris on his bass. Usually we would play For Whom the Bell Tolls or Seek and Destroy by Metallica. We would always cruise to this secret bike park down this canal access road nearby and ride these bike jumps someone built there. Me, Chris and Tyler all had the same Computer Typing 101 class in 8th grade where we would finish typing practices ASAP in order to jump onto MySpace and send eachother stupid messages. Chris had one of those JuiceBoxes that he watched music videos on. Myspace was blocked but we learned how to go "incognito" on Internet Explorer. It was great! We always bitched about the music the teacher was playing and whatever else had happened during the school day. Eventually more people in the class made accounts and would communicate with us during our boring typing class.
