Melanie Martinez Australia concert 05/02/24

I recently went to the PORTALS tour at Margaret Court Arena, Melbourne. I loved it so much, I have been a fan of Melanie for 10 years now and I finally got to see her live.

Because I was younger when her older albums came out, I never got the chance too see Crybaby or K-12 songs live. Crybaby got me through primary school and helped me feel better about myself. I relate to her so much because when I was younger, I was bullied and called a gap-toothed weirdo and a sensitive little crybaby. Her songs have done so much for me and she's my idol.

I screamed so hard when she started playing old songs, she played Play Date, Show & Tell and Mad Hatter. Mad Hatter is one of my favourite Melanie songs!

Even though I've been a fan of her for like, ever, I didn't have any merch except drawings of her. I've just now started collecting merchandise and I'm pretty happy with it!

The best thing of the night though was these two girls who passed us up confetti, I'll never forget them they were so sweet. I got 16 pieces and I split it with my friend Emily who was there with me.

Anyway, thank you for reading this! It was the best night of my life! :-)
