Here’s to Kim Seungmin, you adorable dandy boy, you. Seungmin’s my bias and favorite emotional support K-pop boy and he deserves all the love in the world because he’s the best and there’s no debate there. · I know this is probably the most shallow thing on the list but let me scream about his visuals for a minute- Seungmin gets a lot of flak for not having a face suited for the dark concepts SKZ usually go for and I would’ve agreed with that wholeheartedly during their debut era (debut era Seungmin makes me so soft oh god), but he’s matured so much- I mean, have you seen him these last few comebacks? His pink-haired Go Live era look lives rent free in my mind, and every time I see his forehead, it adds another year to my lifeline. He’s got the prettiest smile ever- I could go on forever about his smile- and his pretty, pretty Disney princess eyes are so??? He’s grown up so much from his puppy era to a really handsome man and if you can’t see that, you need to get your vision checked. · His voice is !!! He’s so stable live; there’s legit no difference between his voice in studio versions and when he’s performing live; not to mention his voice is so angelic. I’m probably never getting to heaven but I’m definitely sure angels sound like Kim Seungmin. · I’d gush about his dancing except the only thing playing in my mind is him doing that TikTok challenge- which he aced, by the way, we really stan a multitalented king. · Obviously, I have no idea about what any of the members are like irl but from what I’ve gathered from the bits and pieces of their lives that they show, Seungmin’s the most mature one of the group (he’s the only one who got ‘assertive’ instead of ‘turbulent’ in that MBTI thing they did, if my memory serves me correct. I’m still not entirely sure what that means except I’m an INTP-T and I’m a mess so I’m assuming assertive people are more… assertive). · He’s such a huge fucking nerd, it’s so adorable- Hyunjin lamenting about the sheer amount of books at Seungmin’s house honestly made me fall in platonic love with him even more because Seungmin’s the textbook definition of a Ravenclaw (I heard that he read about vampires for a stage performance and if that isn’t the most quintessentially Ravenclaw thing ever, I dunno what is). · He’s also such an oddball; I love his little quirks and mannerisms so much (his “Staaa~” will never not be adorable). · The fact that he stared at Hyunjin showering is hilarious in itself without considering the fact that Hyunjin saw fit to say that on television. · His English and slight accent are really cute too. Honestly, his English is pretty damn close to perfect. · The! Fact! That! His! English! Name! Is! Sky! It fits him so much and it’s so cute, I mean have you ever met someone more worthy of being called the sky? · I love how he’s so persistent- like the fact that he hasn’t given up on devouring Jeongin since their predebut days. · Ships aside, his dynamic with Felix makes me so happy; they’re so comfortable together whatever they may do, be it joking around or burning pancakes. · The weird, weird things he says sometimes really send me, like that time he went speechless after being asked to choose between SKZ and DAY6 (unrelated but every once a month or so, I get that video where BTS’s V chooses Jungkook over one of his other friends without hesitation in my Instagram feed, while the only member who remotely saves SKZ’s asses from mortifying each other is Chan). · His sense of style? Those baggy shirts look so good on him? Dandy boy indeed.
