Short Films

i just watched this short horror film on youtube called “it’s not about fear” and it’s starts off with this woman checking herself out in the mirror as she’s getting ready for her date with this man. the man and her are chatting in the kitchen when the camera pans to the pantry and there’s this tall dark figure with beady white eyes that disappears when he turns the light on. next they’re in the living room and she places her hand on his knee and then he sees the figure’s hand. 

he races to the to the kitchen and she says, “it’s okay. I have mine too”. and then they show a man with his eyes blurred out. then she says “he wouldn’t stop when i said no.” then he said “she wouldn’t either, i don’t remember her name or what she looks like”. and the girl says “it’s okay, we don’t have to do this now. we can take things slow”. 

and it ends with them eating their food together as these “shadow people” are just standing there. 

Personally, I think it was a beautiful film about not letting your trauma stop you from living your life.
