☆ Was hazbin hotel worth a 4 year wait????? ★

Okk so lots of opinions on hazbin now that it's out

First there's the actual show itself, it's good tho it's fast pace. Ik there's gonna be like a bunch of seasons but if that's the case there could be more EPs. Like i didn't care about Emily cuz she was literally a new character, like who cares if she's standing up to Sera when we don't know her. It was mentioned that Charlie went somewhere with her so we could've got an ep making us care more about her so that the scene would have more impact

Then there's the whole Angel dust debate

I get it was triggering to some so ik why ppl say it should be  censored, but it's also good to be honest about how horrible sa and abuse us. I've seen ppl say hazbin glorified the abuse but when u see the character getting physically abused on screen instead of just hiding that shit off camera it really shows how horrible it is. They didn't sugar coat it by cutting away from it, they showed the horrors of it and that's important af

Ppl like to ignore abuse becuz they don't see it happen so it doesn't feel as bad to them, but when they're forced to see it they're forced to acknowledge it. That's why I like the scene and the fact they didn't shy away from showing it

Ppl aren't meant to be comfortable watching abuse happen

And angel being so sexual and all the sexual lyrics in loser baby about how he had no holes left to deflower n shit, I don't think that was glorifying it, that's from his perspective, he's hypersexual and sexualising himself, those lyrics are his opinion

I can make a character racist without saying racism is normal

He can be hyper sexual without the creator saying sa is normal or good

I understand why some ppl didn't like it tho, made that ep triggering and hard to watch

Still doesn't change the fact some ppl need to realise he's not bad rep

At the end of the day, idk if this wait was worth it

Idk tbh

Like it was good and I enjoyed it but there really were some writing issues

Ig I hear that the newer generations have lower attention spans so a faster pace show that rushes thru everything makes sense, like it was easy to watch becuz so much happened at once, ig that's also kinda the adult show style where shit happens a lot and there's less of a straight plot

But hazbin had a plot and is also doing this spontaneous, quick pace crap

Like 8 eps covered SIX MONTHS

That's fast

So idk I still think it should've been more structured

Like u don't go into the fourth ep with revealing the sa that had been built up over the last 3 eps. Ik most fans already knew but someone could see it randomly and choose to watch it without any knowledge of that. And it would be a cool reveal, a dramatic reveal, the constant messages and angels shifts in tone and stuff would be a great way to keep ppl watching, wonder what would happen next. But it gets revealed like immediately

Angels abuse, alaster made a deal, Lucifer has been revealed, vaggies an angel, husk was an ex overlord, an angels dead, carmilla killed the angel, heavens corrupt, ediths reveal, Adams dead, the extermination, someone's dead, they're not dead actually

So many plot points and twists revealed in the first 8 eps

Hold ur punches

They have to run outta plot twists eventually right?

Love alaster tho <3
