Update and poem?

Hi I haven't posted on here in forever, I really missed this site. My boyfriend got me back into it and helped me make my profile super cool. Long live frutiger aero!

A lot of stuff has happened since I was last on here, but I think I need to make a few posts if I want to cover all of it.

So I just wanted to post this poem I made about a week ago, cause I don't think its too bad and I want to try and get more comfortable sharing my writing.

The World Does Not End When I Say so

Even when I am curled and shriveled by the sky, by my relentless rumination
I step outside into leaf and city and for a moment am swallowed up
By the splashes of green sprawling onto every urban corner.
For the world does not end when I say so.

It gets real quiet and dead and will drape you in night
But if you stand close to the moon and be sure not to move
You will still hear its hum.
For the world does not end when I say so.

Light can dim and people will collapse—but this is misunderstood
Because our souls are a gift and to love is to kiss grief on the forehead
And know she is only reminding us to hold gratitude.
For the world does not end when I say so.

And when I am stuck in my ways and you gut me like a fish
When I lay bleeding and exposed during operation
I will shrink myself into nothing
For the world does not end when I say so.
