yikes!

roommate made a comment last night about how his budget is unexpectedly tighter than usual this month since he happened to pay all his bills/rent in the span of two days. which kind of scared me since I haven't checked my bank account in months (I hate looking at it bc it sends me into a panic even when I have money in there). I know I have money thanks to that lawsuit I won last year but idk HOW much.

so today I taught myself how to create a budget speedsheet in OnlyOffice and Oof. I would be perfectly fine this month if I didn't just drop a ton of money on new hiking boots & biking equipment. but like I kind of needed those since hiking/biking is my main de-stress hobby. my old hiking boots fell apart literally WHILE I was in the middle of a hike with my local outdoors group. the soles came off in one fell swoop and we still had a mile left to go and I had to limp along with my broken ass boots ; o ; those things lasted me 15 years so I'm very sad to see them go. and if there's one thing that you absolutely should not skimp on it's hiking boots.

whatever WHATEVER I'm giving myself until after Katsucon to really start batting down the hatches when it comes to money. And hopefully I get accepted as a vendor into Anime Ocean City so I can earn some extra income.
