ttpd april 19th what the actual fuck!! i was like 1 foot out of my swiftie phase but now im back... it better be good. it's not giving any of her other albums THANK GOD. midnights felt like an amalgamation of like 1989 and rep and lover and evermore and it really kinda sucked. no idea how it won aoty but grammys are fake anyways wbk. i literally have no right to make predictions since i thought midnights was gonna be... a 70s rock album... lmfao but anyway i hope ttpd is not like midnights sound-wise. ttpd is giving concept album in the best way possible it's giving detective its giving inspector gadget its giving special agent oso(???) the cover is giving folklore but like sultry if that makes sense. i need this to be a different genre because this concept is too good to be just another flop basic pop album (this is a dig at flopnights).
okay so going thru the discography the songs that kinda fit with this album cover and concept are happiness, gold rush, the lakes, renegade, etc etc. i hope she finds a way to have a similar feel while still being new. IM SO FUCKING GLAD MIDNIGHTS ERA IS OVER. as much as i yearn for a visual album from taylor this album is giving like maybe 1 music video (folklore & evermore vibes). even if we did get a visual project, i'm not super convinced taylor is the great director she makes herself out to be because her music videos over the past couple of years have kinda sucked and the common denominator is her as director. wtv tho i'm here for the MUSIC not the videos. although this album is giving personal and intimate it also gives collab album. like who else in in the "department"??? probably lana del rey but who else?????
anyways rip me and my bank account until april 19th
