Knockemout Series - Lucy Score

Dear "Life as a Teenager" Viewers,

Let's discuss the latest series I have been reading; the Knockemount Series. The series consists of three books:

  1. Things We Never Got Over - Set in a small town, Knox doesn't do relationships everything is kept specifically non-romantical one-night stands. But then there's Naomi, who was not only running to escape her wedding but also running to help her twin in Knockemount. Unfortunately, for Naomi her twin sister hasn't changed a bit, after she steals her car & cash Niao is left with a niece she never knew she had and no plan. Since her life imploded in front of Knox he makes it his mission to help her. All he wants to do is get his life back on track, away from her, but as they spend more time together and more issues arise the two find themselves in a fake dating arrangement and falling for one another each night they spend in the other's arms. Knox has sworn off love forever, but now it seems to have warmed its way back into their heart. Will he continue to fight against it? Or will he finally welcome it back in?
  2. Things We Hide From The Light -Nash Morgan's southern charm has always been what everyone knew him as, in theory, he was the good Morgan brother. However, after this police chief is shot and recovering he finds that his southern charm is being clouded by his PTSD. He feels alone and that no one sees the darkness of what he is going through, except his neighbor Lina. The physical connection between the two is undeniable. But Lina has a secret plan of her own, after all, she only came to Knockemount for one reason. Definitely not to plant roots, but hook up with a hot cop for a couple of nights? Why not. Once she gets what she came for, her every intention is to leave, but she found a home in Knockemount and Nash isn't just going to let what he claims is his leave that easy, even if the dangers that got him shot are somehow connected to her.
  3. Things We Left Behind - Since Lucien Rollins's family name has been destroyed by his father, he will do everything he can to secure more money and power as he builds an indestructible empire. The only thing that haunts him at night is Sloane Walton, the small-town librarian with a feisty attitude. Bonded by being childhood enemies due to dark secrets from their past rooted in their families, the two bicker like crazy and never trust the other. However, the bickering soon sparks into unexpected foreplay, leading to a steamy one-night stand. Now that the flames between the two have been lit, the two struggle to put them out. Sloane is ready to start a family, but Lucien is far from it. He is handed by his past and is scared to mess up on the family and relationship aspect like his father did. He would rather be alone than risk the chance of hurting her. Will Sloane give Lucien a third chance? Or has his chances run out?
