Raya was an art student at IAS (Tokyo International Art School) in Tokyo, Japan for 2 years. She used to live in Michigan with her family before she moved out to go to Japan to become a better artist and a animator

One night she was walking home from her late class during her sophmore year. She takes a shortcut down an alleyway to get to her apartment, but she hears a groaning noise. She turned to see down the dimly lit alley and saw what looked like a decaying..man? This black fog fills the alley pouring out of this thing. Raya stood there not knowing what to do until the thing's eye met hers. Gurgling gibberish leaving a black residue everywhere it touches the thing tries to get up and reach out but fails to do so. She notices the air getting thicker and it's getting harder to breathe. She backs out of the ally and runs the other way taking the long way around. Walking home she feels anxious, Scared, and feels an odd weight on her shoulders. Speeding up at every noise she hears till she sees her door rushes to unlock it and quickly gets in and closes the door locking it back up. 

Being in her house relieved some of her anxiety but she still feels heavy, the weight still being there, and feels like she's being watched. The feeling of someone in her apartment with her is overwhelming. She's panicking. It's too quiet and still and too hot. She turns on the TV and goes to take a shower to try to calm herself. turning it colder then she usually does cleaning herself, finishes the shower, gets out, dries herself off, and put on her pj's. She turns to the mirror to see that her feeling of someone with her wasn't just a feeling. The figure standing behind her was very real. 

Days go by and the pain is getting unbearable. Her veins are popping out of her skin, she feels on fire, and her skin feels too tight. She decides to go to the hospital to see what they can do to help. She ended up going to the ER and got set up with a doctor. After a painfully long time of questions and examinations the doctors decide to take an x-ray to see if there is anything else happening. What the doctors found shocked them. 

-Speed run-

This happens over the span of three-ish years

• Raya was sent to a lab for further inspection

• She gets abused and cut in the lab and went through something called a “blood eagle”

• She breaks out which ended up with a search party to look for her

• She flees to South New Jersey and gets a job working as a bartender at some cheap bar/club

• The people find her parents and torture them to tell the search party where she is 

• Her parents don't and they get killed

• Raya finds them dead and goes to kill the search party 

• She does end up killing them and is now on the search for the scientist that treated her like a lab rat

• Doctor Alexander Tase ( the scientist that abused her) is now in hiding after the search party got wiped

• In the meantime she goes back to New Jersey to go back to work and do some research on the doctor.

• The past (douchebag) owner of The Devil's Heaven was very upset that she left for years and lashed out on her.

• She took over the establishment after he went missing
