I heard this in Pansy Waltz (Demo) - Shakey Graves and thought it was so adorable! It is a pretty inspiring track, I really hope to be able to write like he can someday. I strive to grow as an artist, and his stuff is just incredible. It can be hard to imagine myself being capable of what Shakey is, but then I look back and remember when I wanted to play a simple McCafferty song on guitar and now I can do that and much more! Looking back and seeing how I overcame my struggles encourages me to push forward and improve. It has been tempting to quit and not perform, but I have this thing inside me that needs to get out. I cannot go through my life thinking I could have played music and didn't. Anyway, rant over. In conclusion, follow your dreams. Even if you fail miserably at least you get to look and see that you gave it what you had and you will not have anything to regret! Lots of love from me and I pray you chase your dreams!
