Reviews for The Legend of Fall Creek and Happy Times

In short:

The Legend of Fall Creek-Disappointing and underwhelming. I really enjoyed the sequel Black Pumpkins which ironically was released in December before this one, but this is a mess. Wholly disjointed camera-work during the kills that are so hard to focus on what's happening it ruins the best part of the film and an overlong intro backstory to things made it really tough to get through. The small-town atmosphere works and it does have some brutal kills, but not enough to save it.

Happy Times-This is a little easier to break down: if you like watching these affluent, narcissistic types succumb to those impulses in murderous means the film will be fun. If you can't stand that type, you'll be utterly annoyed and infuriated with this one. Still has a lot to like regardless but you'll get the most out of this one if you're into these types of films.
