Crippling Addiction: Monster Energy Drinks

Ever since I turned 18, I started to drink Monster Energy over traditional pre-workout (PWO) supplements. I replaced traditional PWO due to the bad taste, I've tried C4, Ryse, Ghost, Gorilla Mode, and countless flavours, yet they are still shit tasting to me. Monster was different, however, and the taste was really good. I also like the edgy branding, the cans really are cool. I had my PWO consumption to 1-2 days a week, but once I hopped on Monster, I was drinking it every day. Even on off days from the gym, I would still guzzle one or two cans down.

I'm aware that my caffeine intake (150-300mgs) is below an unhealthy daily amount, but I still am feeling side effects from my addiction. When I'm off Monsters, I have very little motivation to get things done. I can't do schoolwork or my workouts without it at this point. I also pay around 3.35 USD-5 USD every day. I could be saving up to 100 USD each month if I would just quit it. I do need that money since I'm a full-time student at college in America.

I've tried quitting cold turkey, but I went back to it like a Fentynal addict in Seattle. I wonder if any of you guys have struggled with this. Also, what are some things I can do to quit?

first of all wtf is wrong with you… no one drinks PWO for the taste it’s for the pump supplements within the PWO. DMAA taste like shit but it makes my brain go WHIRRRRRR
