How to cook a rock, first edition.
A widely speculated question since the dawn of time, a material that surrounds us wherever we go, can you eat a rock? You can see them everywhere you go practically it's probably the least uncommon thing to ever exist but that's another speculation that we will not go into this article. Today, I will show you how to cook a rock with accessible and easy ingredients you probably have laying around your house as you read this.
Many people claim the rock to be, "inedible", but they have not ever attempted to a cook a rock - or research how to cook a rock correctly. This is a great source of food if you're looking for a snack or even a full course meal. The rock is a great source of protein and energy for us, great for athletes and anyone on the move.
Materials necessary for cooking:
- A metal non stick pan, size depends on how big your rock of choice is.
- Vegetable oil or butter, any kind of butter works.
- Cutting board.
- Serrated knife.
Directions:
Set your pan on your oven top, and set heat to high.
Make sure before usage, clean your rock with warm water to get rid of any dirt or excess.
Apply your butter or vegetable oil to the pan, at least a tablespoon.
When hot, set your rock inside the pan. 25 to 30 minutes, remember to flip your rock at 10 minute intervals. Look for a shiny sheen on the rock, a softer wetter substance it emits.
Once finished take your rock out carefully and place it on the cutting board. Taken your knife and shave the now soft surface of your rock off until you find a lighter color.
Once you achieve that color, make small indents all over your rock and set it back in the pan for 30 minutes. You'll find it takes on a tanner more orange color at this stage.
After which take out rock, you will now be able to cut into your rock. With a rough outside and a soft, melt in the mouth interior, You have cooked your rock! Enjoy!
