"White Tiger" - Original Poem

White is a gorgeous color, don’t you think?

Embodiment of purity, housing every color in every form.

Sheets of fallen snow, the feathered wings of an angel,

The soft fur of a white tiger stalking its territory.

That’s what I think of when I see the color white.

Furthermore, I think of colors that blend nicely with it.

Dark purple, shades of yellow and gold,

Navy blues and soft black hues.

I wonder, what does the color white mean to you?

To me, it means much more than simple purity.

It symbolizes trust, love in its truest form,

A bond that can never be broken by man or god.

It may sound lame or even cheesy, but it’s true.

Sweet vanilla, spoonfuls of sugar,

Flour sprinkled on a small tin pan,

All things white, all things good.

If you had a color to represent your beloved,

Then I’m sure you’d understand.

There’s no one else out there quite like him.

Soft as a tiger’s fur,

Sweet as vanilla,

Glowing brightly like an angel,

Light and flowing like freshly fallen snow.

I’d love to hear the colors of your loved ones,

Whenever the time may come.

But for now, I think I’ve made my piece.

You’ll find me in the city under the full moon,

Patiently awaiting him.
