Karate

I have been doing karate for 6-7 years now.

I have done AAU (competition) for 4 years now.

I am currently a 3rd year junior black. 

I am 4th year (2nd brown) in competition.

Friends and community:

I love talking about karate. I found many friends during karate, that have stuck with me for years, and years to come. I have never seen such a community, and I don't think it's just a karate. My karate has an aftercare, which I did for 5 years, ever since I was a child. Their aftercare program grew me many friends. Now comes spring camp, summer camp, winter camp, and all of the breaks from what we call prison (school). They always had them available, with the helpers, which I considered friends. I always remembered wanting to be one of the older kids, and I thought I was always one of them. Our oldest helper would always try and stop me, but that didn't. I always loved being around them, and from being around them I grew into one of them. They taught me how to be "cool" and I don't think I would be this cool if it wasn't for them. Shoutout to you <3
