Don’t Dwell On Negativity

When we think about life, it seems as if all of the negative events are the first thing that comes to our mind and we start to dwell on those negative thoughts.


What I have learned about negative thoughts is that they are driven by the stress and anxiety of our mind trying to process and deal with the negativity and this process brings more stress and anxiety.


I’ve always been the one to try and tune out the negativity.  Drown out those who don’t or refuse to see the positivity in different situations.


These negative thoughts weaken your mental ability and forms a cloud for you to not think clearly.  Unfortunately we hold on to those negative encounters as memories and in some ways depending on the trauma, they almost always come back.


Take a moment, at the end of every day and reflect not just on the negative but the positive.  I can promise you the positive will always outweigh the negative.
