Career and Dad

This another vent, surprise surprise. So my dad was talking to me about what I want to do and I told him I want to go to law school. Normally a parent would be happy or supportive if their kid wanted that type of career, right? APPARENTLY NOT. Each time he’s like, “yOu DoNt EvEn LiKe ThAt” Like TF??? YOUR NOT EVEN AROUND, HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT I DO OR DONT LIKE??? Anyways, then he tried convincing me to make my own business, as if he hasn’t tried and failed like twice. Financial stability is super important to me and he tried saying I should do art and writing as a job. First of all, it was a hobby I had. Secondly, I’m no good at it now, so I would be more disadvantaged than anything. It’s like he’s trying to live through me and ignoring everything I say. He strolls in here every now and then, judges me for picking a “boring” job and then tries to play the “oh I’m such I good father, why doesn’t my daughter want to talk to me?” As if he didn’t fucking leave. It’s honestly so infuriating. Anyways, I think that’s it for my daddy issues today. BYE XOXO!!!!!
