soo i recently started going back on Lexapro/Cipralex, my first time experience was really terrible so I was cautious this time around. I decided to give it a shot again cus this time Im on break so I can rest if the side effects were too much.
My first time with it, I ended up having arrythmias and kept fainting. Turns out it was cus I was taking it in combination with Abilify (as instructed by my doc), and apparently both of them together increases Lexapro's effectiveness, so as a first-timer, it hit me like a truck.
This time I took half the dosage of lexapro, and skipped abilify for the first week. The first few days were tough cus I was suuuuuuper nauseous but then it went away really quick.
Now I barely feel a difference but I did notice I'm less angry? Idk things that usually tick me off, bother me for like a minute then im back to chilling. Its sooo calm now :') I forgive people quick and dont hold grudges lol. Also I've been having less negative thoughts about myself, so thats been a most-welcome change. Obviously its not all been sunshine and daisies but it's definitely an improvement from my usual day-to-day life.
Bonus: I've read that it actually helps with Autism and the irritability that comes with it, so thats probably been the anger ive had lolz, who knew autism made me angry all the time?
I'll be starting on Abilify again tomorrow, wish me luck :>
