mizi and the five stages of grief.

 INCOMING SPOILERS FOR ALIEN STAGE.

title is self explanatory... this blog will showcase indicators of mizi going through the five stages of grief in the alien stage videos. its not going to be super analytical, just a fun blog with images and a caption explaining why.

1. ROUND 1: the initial shock. 

sua just died, and mizi fell on her knees in shock and disbelief. it is theorized that her and sua sang a duet to get a tie thinking that neither of them will die, but that plan didnt work out. the camera is off center, the background blank white, it shows mizis current state of mind.

2. ROUND 2: denial.

the denial is not obvious here, and she seems to be still recovering from shock. however, i just wanted to think of this as her being in denial, since the next time she appeared, she no longer denies suas death.

3. ROUND 5: anger. 

adding multiple images here bc the way vivinos depicted her anger is just perfect. sketchy line art, background flashed into a black to red gradient then turned fully red... a commenter analyzed her eye color, saying that it went from yellow to orange, which shows the burning rage she was feeling.

4. MIZISUA: bargaining and depression. 

the entire mizisua video seems to be mizi telling the audience her story, which is bargaining. then she is shown curled up, crying, and doesnt seem to move... which is depression.

5. ALL-IN: acceptance and moving on.

in the beginning of all-in, mizi is shown to be very reserved still, with a weary expression, meaning that she is still recovering from depression but she is slowly moving forward to acceptance. her hair being cut symbolizes a new chapter in her life, leaving her past behind. the blue part of her hair is also cut off, a color that usually represents melancholy. by the end of the video, she had completely moved on and her personality starts to resurface again.
