Right now, I'm eating homemade chili and half of a cinnamon roll after doing a walk around the park with one of my friends. The sunny was out and it got to a high of 52 degrees. It was soooo nice out. But of course, with the sun being out comes all the melted snow turned into puddles. It made the walk a little bit more technical, but it was still fun. My Converse shoes were probably not the best choice for all the puddles we had to walk through, but it made the difficulty of the walk made it feel like I worked harder for my chili. And I always love that feeling. It was really funny; my friend and I were talking about how making plans with friends as adults feels like the equivalent of going out to play with your friends as a kid. During work I was feeling really low energy and I remembered when I was younger making plans with friends for after school and how that would make the day easier to get through. When I was trying to get through the last part of the day, I just kept thinking "I've just got to get through the day because after work I'll get to go play with my friend". It feels so silly, but I've been trying to just do things that I liked doing as a kid. Like being outside, eating fun things, or going on adventures with my friends. Then my friend was talking about seeing two girls walking together and holding hands, so I asked her "do you want to hold hands and walk?". She said "sure!" so we held hands and walked for a little bit. It was a good time lol. I've never really had any close girl friends, so it felt nice. Now off to do laundry, dishes, litterbox cleaning, and some reading before bed!
Sunny Monday walk around the park
