Backstory: He was an experiment in a lab that could fight back against mutants by taking their abilities, but he wasn't treated too well because a living flower creature doesn't have feelings so there were a ton of cruel tests and experiments done that fucked him up beyond belief. So one of the scientists (K-MO) tried to help him, by teaching him how to do basically everything. But, oh no, evil main scientist guy gets pissed so K-MO kinda gets tortured by him and goes missing. Helix eventually escapes and finds K-MO and fuckin kills everybody in that laboratory research building or whatever the fuck you call it. Helix and K-MO are out in the world now and Helix learns mutants are bad and have this thing with species racism with normal creatures or whatever. K-MO tries to keep Helix out of trouble legally for a while. Eventually Helix has a fight with a mutant, fucking kills them and freaks out because he doesn't know what to do. So he hides the body in his room and eventually his intrusive thoughts eventually draw him to eating the body because hes a carnivore and what would be a better way to dispose of the body than eating it. He finds out something tasted really good while eating it, and finds a part in the mutants brain that holds this glowy liquid, he takes some of it and drinks some of it, and finds out that was the stuff that he tasted. He finds a syringe and decides if this stuff can work like heroin, injects the juice in him, gets high as balls, finds out he gets cool abilities from it, and then it wore off. So he comes up with a plan to collect more of this stuff by killing more mutants and doing some rainbow factory type shit with it by finding an old warehouse to make as his lair or whatever the fuck you call it. Steals some machinery and builds something that not only can old a lot of brain juice, but also injects a lot of it inside him. So he tries it out by putting it directly over his spine because thats a good idea, it leaves a giant hole in him, but it didn't hurt so hes confused. He found out he's immune to pain now, but cant regenerate because hes not a mutant with regenerative abilities, and now hes just looking for a mutant with those abilities by killing other mutants at random
