Body Horror writing

I've been thinking and I really like the thought of writing some body horror type stuff, like just like gore, gore, gore, blood, blood, blood, and "oh my god did her guts just spill out?", kinda like the good crappy horror, like I'm prob going to write something and try to go for the type of horror kinda story that at first is pretty crap but as u put thought into it, it genuinely gets more disturbing the more u think abt it. idk if such a thing exists, never written horror before but got some real messed up ideas so idk about. Any thoughts on this?
