So I went on a date with the president, it was nice however the entire time I felt uneasy. The president was polite and didn't do anything to overstep comfort, infact all we did was go to this cafe that was near his home. Yet I still felt uncomfortable. Perhaps it's a problem with me?

That's just his personality, he's able to make everyone around him uncomfortable without even trying.

I'd offer myself to join as well, but if the President were to find out I'd be joining he'd probably decline immediately.
