Sometimes, out of some weird sense of curiosity, I like to take a gander into the abyss.
It smells of freezer burn, and feels like aloe Vera on a sunburn that has a heartbeat. But it's where the best ideas are born. I fish my hand inside, groping the walls until I find something that sticks out. It comes in a lot of different shapes, but the best ones are the biggest, the ones I have to dig deeper for.
When I pull it out it's sticky, oozing with potential like a freshly popped pimple. All it needs is a little but of garnish, a dash of the spices kept up in the cupboard, maybe some some heat to warm it up.
When it's ready, I don't devour it. I take the time to share it with others, gathering their critique and comments so the next time I am given the chance, I can give them something better.
