In my opinion there was no progress as a society, we were stuck in limbo again like in 2018. The only thing "relevant" so to speak were pure controversies; like aliens and stuff but seriously people. did we really advance as a society?

It's like just putting the "3" on 2022 and taking away pandemic, there was no scientific advancement or anything like that, it was pure show only, gossip about celebrities and stuff, but really how is it possible that we are stuck after completely overcoming COVID-19; the only thing that changes every year is that the world gets worse, well, I know there is more freedom of gender, orientation, race, femininity, etc. now. But we are not making a change for the world itself; we are getting stuck in wars, pollution in the environment and the stupidity and ignorance of teenagers nowadays, there is no effort in them to try to improve nature, study to be great entrepreneurs or something like that, no, they are only dedicated to act stupid and mentally retarded; focusing on if they fit in the society now or not, they only think about which one of all the d1ck5 or p0ssy they have to eat. There is really no telling what the future holds for us when there are so many social, economic, and political problems. I am way off topic but it is linked but really, has there been a significant advance as a society in 2023?
