Sometimes I fear of looking dumb,
Sometimes I just hold my tongue,
For i'm afraid that you would run,
If I told you how much you mean to me,
Am I crazy for feeling the way I do?
I feel this way because its true,
Even though when I say it,
I feel like I'm in a padded up room,
Is this real ?
Is it okay to admit how I feel ?
I'm already putting up my shield,
I am afraid of those words being said,
that this chemistry was all just in my head,
That nothing was what it seemed,
Yet I still choose to believe.
When I ask you to be my Valentine,
This is what I mean...
Not just as a friend, but will you be my Valentine's date ?
I know you're confused, or perhaps just scared,
