new year, same old same-

it's not like i'm not trying to change, i swear-

so anywaysss, my birthday was on the 23rd, it was super uneventful, except for my grandmother on my mom's side breaking down due to missing her flight and me having a chain breakdown in the car cuz i love her to bits and worry about her whenever she's at the airport, so we had to hightail it back from where we were to the airport to buy her another ticket for another flight (which was the last flight for the day). see, thing is, though, she was at there 15 to 30 minutes ahead of time, and she was in the flight lounge (i've no clue what they're called, fuck me), and as soon as she approached the gate to board, they closed for no damn reason. how do you manage to fuck that up, don't ask me, ask Oliver Tambo International Airport (yes, i'm not even gonna bother being vague, do with this information what you will), or the SAA, i'm onto them, cuz i know their clown asses are in debt with the government. and the icing on the cake, you might be wondering? she got first class on the first plane. luckily, though, my mom went passive aggressive Karen and filed a complaint via email, and my grandma's back home safe and sound. i didn't get cake or my laptop, though, which my mom said she'd get me last Christmas already. why? she sold my old Packard Bell cuz it wouldn't charge. meh, at least i got granny-lace bras and a new purse, haha.

i also tried fried bread for the first time yesterday while making french fries for my mom and i. first i fucked the fries over, which they then turned out good? anyways, while i was busy frying, i wanted to try frying small pieces of bread, all because of a TikTok, and it's pretty alright. also had some today. it was just a bit greasy, and i'm not used to having a lot of oil in my system.

i almost forgot to tack on the part where i got friend req'd and IM'd by someone who's a little too, uhhh, invested in ERP, i guess? i get it, i like roleplaying too, but calm your tits, your lips doth be invading my privacy.

today, i hung the laundry, which my mom didn't bitch about, for once? don't get me wrong, she asked me to hang it up, but her not complaining about my hanging attempts are kinda unsettling... please let it stay that way.

weight today's 59.6 kg. what the hell? i could've sworn i weighed, like, 61 point something a few days ago...
