to net or not to net

Hi hi Spacehey ppl, this is going to be my first post in a minute, which I’m super excited to share the things I’m going to share lol.

First off I wanna say I did leave the internet for sometime and delete a lot of my old posts so RIP to them.

In part of my neglect on internet I’m here to officially say I’m back bitxhesss XD!!!

It will almost be two years since I joined Spacehey, and I’ve met some very cool people here, including those who come and go. I guess you can say I did too for about a year or so, but that hasn’t stopped what I love. I just wasn’t ready to share nor did I know how I wanted to share.

I have the opposite of FOMO called JOMO (Joy of Missing Out) so I been enjoying my time just lurking and not posting anything. I also needed to recharge, regroup, and really decided what I wanted out of everything.

Im about to finish my B.A. in Computer Science and boy lets just say I’m am super stoke but overwhelmed in a good way. This last year especially has been pivotal since I first laid hands on a computer.

The great thing about Spacehey is that this website is such a low pressure environment compared to other popular social media sites. A lot of the content posted here are by people who actually seem to care and will view it. Bonus for not being bombarded by likes and comments as well. Plus you cant forget a good homage to MySpace.

Here we can omit the algorithms that “customize” our feeds that we love or hate, doomscrolling, and unprovoked anger that comes with virality.

Those are just a couple things that stick out to me personally.
