old friend

there isn't much of a chance that you'll see this:

your message might've not been clear as to who it was for, but a gut feeling leads me to believe it was meant for us. selfish or not, we've hoped for this moment ever since the first one. clearly, we've taken the efforts to at least try to search. our intentions aren't to overstep, nor are they to directly contect if this all works out in the end. all we care about is if you're doing okay, and that you're healing well. feel free to make it clear if we shouldn't do this again -- any efforts to try again will be stopped

the two of us have remained in contact since we met. we've grown together, spent some time apart, made new friends and lost some as well, but in the end it's still the both of us here. the last thing we've been waiting for is you -- it just can't be fully complete without you. with this large amount of time passing this quickly, we've become used to the idea that old books would stay closed; no matter how much we reread a chapter, it won't be able to become a part of our ongoing story. 

regardless, this discovery gave us hope -- it may not seem like it, but you've left quite the mark on us.. even me. i might've not known you as well as the others (giving it was only a couple months), but i think you opened quite a chapter of my life and left an admirable set of memories when it closed. for some reason, i still remember it all like it was yesterday

i truly hope that everything's gone as planned for you.
