Hey guys so I've got I bit of a problem...
I'm a senior in high school and one of my big projects is due by Feb 4th.
It's nothing super hard. All we have to do is make up a fake cereal, box, (real) data, and budget (this is a marking class) (Yes, it is a required class and I have to pass).
My target audience is kids 3-10 years old, But be real with me.
would you eat a cereal that's chocolate on the outside and strawberry filling on the inside?
the chocolate would turn the milk into chocolate milk like coco puffs and the strawberry filling will be like a jam texture.
I'm calling it Choco-berry milkshake. The box would be a soft pink with a fuzzy pink monster on the box. (the monster is friendly and has a little green spout on its head)
would this appeal to you now, as a kid, and to any kids you know?
Please tell me. I need data for this project.
EDIT (FEB 11,2024):
I PASSED WITH AN A+
THANK YOU BABES FOR ALL YOUR HELP!

Hello ,I hope you pass for your class but personally the jam texture doesn't sound so good mixed with milk, perhaps making another texture tasting like strawberry would be better?

I gotta say, chocolate and strawberry are a classic so it sounds good, but the jam texture throws me off. I think the inside should be more along the lines of like a cream, especially if the intended goal is milkshake flavors.
For the box, anything with extremely bright/vibrant colors will work and cartoons are always great for kids. Meaning nothing realistic needs to be drawn, maybe draw a strawberry caricature bathing in chocolate milk haha. And throw a maze or word puzzle on the back of the box for extra kid entertainment.

Well, let us see here.
Bright, friendly colors expressed by a bright, friendly figurehead. Very nice, catches the child's eye.
And a gimmick featured in the jam filling of the chocolate shell? Something tangible for the children to look forward too. Perfect.
Perhaps, all that is left is a short, but sweet (and not too annoying for the parents) catchphrase to stick with the children, but otherwise, everything conceptualized is quite well. Hmm. "Jamming with Berry Red" of something of that sort depending on what you shall call this cereal mascot, but a strawberry, jungle, musical angle could be nice considering music is universally loved by children.
A promising venture indeed.

Sounds like a pretty good idea! Maybe you could even add something like a toy that comes with the cereal, I used to love that as a kid lol.
