for the second time this week, the first being Tuesday, i was dragged out of lessons to go on an "educational" excursion. now, i am of the understanding that my first trip of the week was beneficial to my education, yet todays, i feel, was unnecessary. the trip in question was "the revolution train", honourably dubbed the drug train by yours truly.
of course i understand the need for drug awareness, to avenge those lost to heroin, cocaine and fentanyl laced weed, yet i feel spreading awareness of cigarettes, recreational alcohol usage and the occasional joint is even slightly unreasonable. there is a constant stream of middle aged adults coming in different forms of drug awareness programs, which are so frequent that they almost urge you to rebel from pure frustration, defeating the whole purpose of D.A.R.E, revoluční vlak and any other drug awareness program. Since the age of 11 we are pumped this awareness through cringe ass assemblies in the auditorium and yearly topics of drug awareness in PSHEE, and at this point there is literally no information we do not know about the dangers of party drugs and 420.
in conclusion, i am simply trying to be a teenage girl living in my world of freedom and rose petal laced mary jane, which causes no harm to my well being, and i would like to do so in peace.

you're so right about this. it's always either this or speaking about the topics as if people haven't lost their lives to everything mentioned; obviously no one's gonna care if our only forms of education on it are monotonous lists of consequences and repetitive presentations.
