free website makers?

do you guys know any good ways to make free websites? ive been using wix for a while to make website to document my oc lore and to archive all the art i make incase something happens but i found out it would put my personal email in the url. I cant change it without paying its kinda stupid that it does that. Its also just generally a little limiting on the things i want to do. So if you guys know any free website makers it would be super helpful if you could link them to me. 

if i can't find an alternative i ill try to manage with wix i guess i miss working on my website.
