So there's this school subject called "Socio-emotional Education" that i have in school, i don't really fw it but i do the work cause the teacher's cool and i need to pass.
So the teacher wanted to start doing something where a different people went in front of the class and read fragments of a book called "Stronger than hate". Those who read the book know, but if you haven't i'll make it short. It's about a guy that lived a horrible life and stuggles to forgive people for the damage they did to him. The problem here is that the protagonist, because of his father's traits, wanted to kill him (until stuff happens and he learns to forgive, i won't spoil it cause it's a cool book), and then the teacher went with the principal to see if she approved the book.
She read the first paragraphs of the book where this said thing was said and instantly rejected the idea. I find it completely ridiculous that she rushed so hard to judge it and instantly reject it, because it's a book that can actually change one's mindset, it's a beautiful book that to be honest everyone should read, but she only reasoned with her 2 brain cells and limited her thoughts to the first paragraphs and instantly rejected what would be an actual worthy lesson.
It's a shame that these people rule places where mfs are suppossed to actually learn things, not only academic stuff but also about being a better person. And i mean, if they're gonna reject the idea of reading something that can help you to be a better person, then what's the point of including subjects that talk about that exact thing?.
idk how to end a text so bye xdxddd
