baernals yap session #1 - loops

so like if yall didnt know yet i have my own typology system named baernals and it has evolved into more than that so like ;-;

the original version of baernals and its extended version are up in my notion (https://linktr.ee/baernals) but i recently reads on socionics and thought "what if i made baernals a little bit more like socio") and i did that kinda ^_^

so like,, i was in class yesterday and i thought about the dichotomies (explained in extended baernals notion im pretty sure) and about how they work and i figured out that they work in like a loop of sorts

and im here to explain them!! btw even tho baernals has polarities and such the theory im making rn doesnt include alot of polarities and things like that, this is more abt how the functions/elements work in the brain etc.

anyways getting to the rings themselves. i found correlations between te-fi and fe-ti, which made me think about something: if an element turns internal when entering the person, why cant the nature change too? since te and fi are connected, and they have opposite natures, then te should turn into fi when entering the person instead of it turning into ti. yes, te from the outside can affect your ti but its most likely to affect your fi.

i then made the loop theory diagram in school. to sum it up, elements switch position and nature when entering the person, elements switch style when crossing the mind, elements switch position and nature when leaving the person, and elements switch style in the outside environment. since external acceptance is the function that starts outside the loops would be EA > IA > IB > EB. (ex: te > fi > si > ce)

thats where i got the idea of two loops: the left one and the right one. the left loop is the loop starting with te (external outer acceptance) and the right loop is the loop starting with fe (external inner acceptance). it was kinda hard to decide what to connect the acceptance part of the loops to (te>fi and fe>ti) and i even made the loops te > fi > se > ci once (💀) or something like that (ur elements are still internal when passing the mind) but i settled on what i have now. in classical baernals ur elements/functions in each loop should be similar since theyre all connected.

simplified descriptions (wip):
the left loop (te > fi > si > ce) define how your accessibility to the outside, and the impact of it on the person. the right loop (fe > ti > ci > se) is more about stability and the internal relations with subjects and objects.
it was 8pm while i was writing the simplified descs so take this w a grain of salt!! i might talk abt them more indepth in another post.

i feel like making a subtype system based on this when i develop this theory further but this is all for now, bye 👋

tldr ; loops are groupings of elements and how they work in the mind loop. they all have things in common, thus their polarities in classical baernals should be similar.
