welcome to my sp braindump! lets start off with the severe mischaractisasion of the characters. more specifically, wallace, todd and gideon. wallace has been sooo mischaracterised ever since spto, apparently according to SOME fans, wallaces whole personality is him being gay, when theres so much to unpack. for example, he learned some powers from his bf mobile in the comics?? and todd. todd is not innocent, no one in the whole scott pilgrim series is! todd cheated, attacked envy and doesnt know what incorigable means (i dont either) and im not saying that you shouldnt like todd or any of the listed characters btw! i like all of these characters, js pointing out some issues w the characters and how they shouldnt be overly babied. and its okay if you disagree! everyone has an opinion. anyway as i was saying, SOME of the sp fans make todds whole personality revolving around wallace - which is NOT true at all. again, a lot to unpack. what about his daddy issues in the third comic? last but not least, gideon. dont get me wrong i loooved him in the anime, but again, its as if being pathetic is his whole personality (which i also kiiinda love but anyway). and once again, SOOOME people have completley forgotten about the fact that gideon has frozen his ex gfs, is super controlling and obsessive, and its hinted that he doesnt actually love ramona, but doesnt know it yet. 

but hey, at the end of the day, theyre just fictional characters with fictional backstories that shouldnt be taken dead seriously. it just sometimes annoys me that people see them in the wrong light. all of these characters are silly in their own way(even if theyre fucked up xDD)
