mean girls the musical the movie (SPOILERS)

Overall 6.5/10

It was hit or miss for me. There were moments where I really liked it and moments where I didn't, overall I think it's a fun watch if you like musicals and don't know the original. 

Things I Liked 

• most of the cinematography 
• renne rapp
• regina still being on drvgs at the spring fling
• lindsay lohan 
• janis actually being out as a lesbian 
• ++ janis and damien dont kiss 
• pyro-les cause she lit reginas bag on fire 
• megan thee stallion 
• the focus being on janis/rather be me while regina gets hit by the bus 
• the focus of the kltene bars being that gretchen wont be able to hold her instead of "she looks fat" 
• + lard instead of foot cream so that it actually works 
• "i never weigh more than 115" being changed to "the filter you use looks just like me" in meet the plastics (not even cause the body positive change but cause its just cuntier like)
• janis and damien wheelchair 

This I Didn't Like

• the actress that played karen (avantika) played her so stupid that was so stupid that it was annoying lol 
• the vertical/phone shots 
• the plastics being so famous that megan thee stallion is keeping up with them 
• gretchen and karen + inviting cady being cut from meet the plastics 
• the auto tune on most of the angourie rices songs 
• the songs that got cut (it roars, where do you belong,half of meet the plastics, fearless, more is better) 
• specifically do this thing being replaced with stupid with love reprise
• the songs sounding more poppy instead of musically (they sounded empty)

I know the dislike section looks a little empty compared to likes but theyre bigger/more consistent things rather than specific moments
