i need to go back to my childhood

i think that the worst part of growing up is the fact that your parents stop monitoring your life, i mean in the way that "you drink alcohol? well, that's okay you're old enogh", "oh, you're dating someone? nice, you have to introduce us", "you're going to a party? okay, take care of you, do you want me to drive you to the party?" and the worst is the fact that i don't ask for permission anymore, i just tell them that I'm going out 😭😭 LIKE, STOP OF BEING SO PERMISSIVE, IDK WHAT IM DOING WITH MY LIFE, sometimes i need to be a kid again, i do like to be a teenager but sometimes i just need my parents being very protective with me
