Journey to be the Crimson King - Entry #1

Hello SpaceHey! I've been bored lately so I've decided to make a series that I post specifically here about my Yu-Gi-Oh! journey to claim the title of "Crimson King" as a personal goal.

Today's entry will be a strategy that I tend to use to stop my opponent from using spell cards:

If I can achieve the situation where I can get the card "Eradicator Epidemic Virus" set face down and the Synchro Monster "Scarred Dragon Archfiend" on the field, my best idea is to use that as the Tribute to activate the effect and then get my "Red Dragon Archfiend" out from the extra deck for better protection, and on my opponent's turn too. This can also work for trap cards as well as EEV allows the calling of those too. Since a lot of monsters have starters that need spell cards I am essentially stopping my opponent from going through with their plays.
