#writing-challenge: first week review

first of all, it is so much fun rediscovering the joy of writing. it is so important to me that i am resuming my creative pursuits, even if the output is not the masterpiece i expect myself to write.

of course i’ve been writing about lia. even when i am not explicitly focusing on her, the characters i weave into my stories are often inspired by the k-pop groups, songs, and media that resonate with us. writing has also been helping with those lovelorn emotions. 

interestingly, i’ve found a newfound appreciation for crafting vivid settings, whereas character profiles aren’t really my thing. i still enjoy writing dialogues, and journaling  continues to be enjoyable.

i let myself forget about the challenge for a day, and catching up on delayed tasks proved to be a bit challenging. i am excited about the second week, since i’ll be starting to overcome my shyness.
