something about dub

alot of people arguing about the way they should watch foreign movies/anime: with subtitles or in dub. mostly people like subs cuz they hear original VA and likes dubs cuz they don't need to read and can just relax and enjoy the show. but in reality it's a bit deeper

people often think about dub like it's when characters something on different language. russian for example. but it's actually not! dub is mostly not about just characters saying russian or other language, but about sound like native speaker! most of the time subs just literally translate everything, when dub translation also change text to make it sounds more native and adapted to current language. 

at last voice actors acting they characters a bit different from the original sometimes. why? because the goal of dub is to making characters not only speak other language but also sound other language, so every viewer can understand how and why characters say thing in this specific way and will fill it even if mental and cultural he very different to country from where this show came from.
