La luna mi fiel testigo en las confesiones de mi memoria.

Si la luna hablara expresaría mis noches de versos tristes.

Si la luna hablara cantaría la melodía de un corazón enamorado.

Si la luna hablara diría que eres la estrella que nació para mí.

Si la luna hablara pediría un eclipse de nuestros cuerpos desnudos.

Si la luna hablara las dolorosas dudas de mi amor por ti

llegarían a su fin.

Si la luna hablara sería la poesía más demente en un mundo feliz.

If the moon could speak, it would express my nights with sad verses.

If the moon could speak, it would sing the melody of a heart in love.

If the moon could talk I would say that you are the star that was born for me.

If the moon could speak, it would ask for an eclipse of our naked bodies.

If the moon could speak the painful doubts of my love for you

would come to an end.

If the moon could talk it would be the most insane poetry in a brave new world.
