☆ wrist update

Okay so b4 I start the actual update, recap for anyone who didn’t read my post about ice skating; While ice skating, I fell over and landed on my wrist but it never stopped hurting so I decided to tell my mum the next day so she could bring me to a hospital.

Recap over, anyways so yeah at 10pm I messaged my mum saying something like “hey can u bring me to a hospital pls my wrist is being a bitch😔” (thats not how i worded it in the actual text, but thats basically what i said)

So she took me to the hospital and we talked to this nurse who was running the office I think? Idk, but we talked to a nurse and she offered to give me panadol & a sling but I said no🤷‍♀️

While we were waiting this girl walked past the seats me & my mum were sitting in and my mum said something like “I know her, that’s [name]’s ex!” so that was funny. Kinda.

Anyways so we kept waiting and I got like, really light-headed and almost fainted (I literally lost my vision for a few seconds, it was THAT bad) and my mum gave me her cordial(?) which helped😼

A few minutes later another nurse came over and called my name cause it was time for my x-ray, so she brought me a wheelchair cause idk i’m guessing it’s incase I almost fainted again, but yeah so I got in the wheelchair and she took me to the x-ray room.

I got my wrist ex-rayed and then we went to another room that had a different nurse. I was given a ice block (to raise my blood sugar I think) so I ate that. I didn’t get most of what the nurse said but from what I could understand: The x-ray didn’t show any breaks, but I had all the symptoms of a broken wrist so we’re treating it like it’s broken.🙏

So she put my wrist into a plaster-cast(?) thing and told me to come back for a check up in 10 days and me and my mum left the hospital🤷‍♀️ 

Anyway, on the bright-side: I can officially say the craziest thing I’ve done is ice skate with a broken wrist for like, an hour and then go another 13-ish hours without medical treatment☠️ Plus I can get my friends to sign my cast.

Edit: I forgot to mention this, but after we left the hospital me and my mum when shopping and I almost passed out (again), it wasnt as bad cause I didn’t loose my eyesight but yeah🤷‍♀️
