Writing

I’m writing again. After an odd streak of writers block. Scratch that, a lack of time and energy. Not so much a lack of passion. I’m publishing on pocket FM under a pen name. I hope my stories can take off. I write because I like it, but it would be nice to have someone…. anyone….. appreciate my work! 

Fingers crossed. 

I uploaded my first chapter. I need to get to 10 chapters before they start doing much with my book, which really pressures me as an author. Also, you have to publish every single day. I don’t even know how many chapters my books should have. I want them to seamlessly fit in so the avid listener feels comfortable, but also be different enough to really stand out. 

This first book is going to be more of a drama. The next will be a sci-fi romance. I also have a horror story in the works that I’m hoping will make peoples blood curdle. It’s awful. I write across such a spectrum. Can I use multiple pen names? I may have to. You can’t write children’s books and horror stories under the same pen name, unfortunately.  

I am hoping to print off some of my children’s books and give them to my niece for her birthday. I think it will be special because she is learning to read. 

Past that, I’ve got several paintings in the works. Really profound stuff. Some of my best work and personal favorites. As a starving artist though, I must admit I also just became ordained as a side hustle. I’m hoping to do weddings, but we shall see.

I’m doing really good on my new medication. I feel functional again.
