Ice Storm Finally Over

Finally have power back after 2 days without it. Didn't go to work at all this week, which was a nice break after last week, but that also means no pay either :( But it wasn't safe to travel with the ice on the roads and the trees down all over.

On the plus side, I finally figured out how to do the waffle stitch after attempting it since right after Christmas. I also finished a book in a week, I don't think I've done that since high school. Having no power really made me appreciate it when it came back on, it's definitely something that is just there and available (usually). 

I'm hoping I'll be able to get out of the house either tomorrow or, at the latest, monday. I'm starting to go a bit stir-crazy, need to get out of the house and do something. Which is funny because I'm usually a huge homebody, but I guess it's different when you physically can't leave versus choosing not to leave on your own volition.
